If It Is Planted, Will It Thrive?

Many times, we hear of God’s Word being “planted” in our hearts. What does that really mean? Well, it means that the Word of God has been given to us either in words spoken by someone else or words given to us in something that we have read. We may also be given God’s Word by how someone treats us in love, kindness and compassion. There are many ways that the seeds of the Word of God are given to us. The question is, “will it grow”?
In Ezekiel 17:10 we read, “10 Behold, it is planted, Will it thrive?” Each day, we are given many opportunities to have God’s seeds planted inside of us, but, what do we do with these seeds? Do we nurture them, protect them and watch them grow? Or, do we ignore those seeds, neglect those seeds and watch them wither and die? Nobody can answer that question for you but you. The question is, what are you doing with the seeds that the Lord has planted inside of you?
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
