It goes without saying that sin is destructive. It can hurt those around us, it can make us fill dirty. It can leave us feeling ashamed, unworthy and with little hope in life. That is exactly what the enemy wants us to feel. The enemy is the first to encourage us to sin and the first to condemn us after we sin. But, did you know that it does not have to be that way?
In Zechariah 3:3-5 it states, “3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel. 4 Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.” 5 And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.”
The Bible tells us that Jesus came to make us clean and “clothe you with rich robes”. If you are tired of feeling “dirty”, let the Lord clothe you with something new. Repent of your sin, receive His forgiveness and let Him clothe you with His richness.
I pray blessings for you today on your Journey!
