How many times, when you were growing up, did you say “just wait til you get yours”? It was usually said, or yelled, to someone after they had done something to hurt you, embarrass you, or make fun of you. We would respond with “just wait til you get yours!” That would make us feel better and, hopefully, make them a little worried. As Christians, we are tempted to say the same. But, did you know we should be praying just for the opposite of those that hurt us?
In Job 36:5-6 we read, “5 “Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding. 6 He does not preserve the life of the wicked, But gives justice to the oppressed.”
Unfortunately, the day is coming where we will all stand in judgement. Our job as Christians is to pray for those who hurt us so that they can come to know Jesus. Pray for people to be blessed. Pray for people to be saved. Pray for people to be transformed.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
