For those of us that walk with Jesus, there is one thing that we desire more than anything else — a deep and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to love Him and be loved by Him. We want to spend time with Him. We ask for forgiveness when we have sinned against Him. It is safe to say that there isn’t anything that we won’t do to attain the intimate relationship with our Lord. But do we seek the same type of relationship with those around us? Chuck Swindoll once said, “before people can get right with God, they must first get right with people”.
In Hebrews 12:14-15 it states, “14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;”
If we are to have a true and meaningful relationship with Jesus, we must pursue real and meaningful relationships with those around us. We must pursue peace, give grace and show the Lord.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
