We live in a society where information is always at our fingertips (literally) and quick decisions are a way of life. Studies have shown that employers make a decision on someone they are interviewing within the first several minutes of the interview (before they really even answer any questions). We live in a world where we make most of our decisions without having all of the information. Unfortunately, sometimes those decisions involve judging others.
In Deuteronomy 17:6 we read, “6 Whoever is deserving of death shall be put to death on the testimony of two or three witnesses; he shall not be put to death on the testimony of one witness.”
Through out the Bible we are told to bring “two or three witnesses”. I think that the Lord is reminding us that we are not to make quick judgements on people, but do so in a way that involves prayer and patience. When you find yourself making quick judgements about people, take time to gather in prayer “three Witnesses” — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
