If you knew that you had only 1 week left to live, how would you live it? I am sure that all of us would have many answers, some similar and even some different. Knowing that your time was limited would drive all of your thoughts, words and actions. Beginning today, we are going to be looking at how Jesus spent his final days here on earth. You may be surprised to learn the thing that drove everything for Him those final days was you.
In John 12:12-13 we read, “12 The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ The King of Israel!”
Crowds had gathered to greet Jesus as He triumphantly entered Jerusalem. He came into the city in victory for the battle that He had already won. Jesus proved that He did not run from trouble, but as the enemy will soon find out, trouble would run from Jesus. His entry into Jerusalem was symbolic of our triumphant entry into Heaven.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
