The Problem with a New Car

Do you know what the problem with a new car is? The moment you drive it off of the lot, it is no longer new! It has been said that as soon as a new car is driven away from the dealership, the value of the car immediately begins to drop! How can something “new” become “old” before we even get to enjoy it?

In Colossians 1:27 Paul writes, “27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Paul reminds us that our riches are not what we have here on earth. Our riches are what awaits us in Heaven.

While new cars may get old, Easter assures us that eternity never does. Regardless of how you measure up to the standards of the world, take comfort in knowing that for those that love and follow the Lord, there are riches that await!

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
