Recently, one of my sons was telling me how he was picked to be on a team at school by one of his friends. We began to talk about what an honor it is to be picked by a captain to be on a team. I told him that it meant that the captain appreciated him, saw value in him and thought his team would be better with my son on it. Maybe we all have not been chosen for teams at school, but did you know that you all have been chosen?
In 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 Paul writes, “13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
We have all been chosen by God because He sees value in us and knows that His team is better with us on it. Remember that you have a purpose and God has a plan for you to be on His team. Which team will you chose to be on?
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
