I remember when I was 5 years old that I was given swimming lessons, kind of… My lesson consisted of throwing me in the pool to “try and swim”. That would have worked great, but I didn’t know how to swim! I splashed up and down in the deep end for what seemed like eternity until the instructor reached in a pulled me out. The feeling of a hand reaching down and pulling me out was an amazing comfort during what seemed to be a pretty major “crisis” in my young life. Did you know that the Lord reaches down to us everyday?
In 2 Samuel 22 1: 1-4 we read, “22 Then David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, on the day when the Lord had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. 2 And he said: “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; 3 The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. 4 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.”
Cry out to the Lord in times of trials, give thanks to the Lord for His deliverance!
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
