When you are teaching a child something, there comes a point when you see the concept “click” in their mind. All of a sudden, they understand what you are saying. All of a sudden, the math problem, spelling word, location of a country on a map seems “easy”. Not only is it a great feeling for the child, but it also is a great feeling for the person doing the teaching. Well, what happens when we begin to gain the knowledge of the Lord?
In Proverbs 2:1-2,10-14 it states, “2 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;…..10 When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul, 11 Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you, 12 To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things, 13 From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness; 14 Who rejoice in doing evil, And delight in the perversity of the wicked;”
It is a beautiful for the Church and the Lord to see someone receive the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord. To see someone apply their heart to the Lord. To see someone walk away from their “evil ways” and the darkness that has suppressed them.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
