I am always interested to examine athletic teams that have won championships. You would think it would be simple to win — get the best players, at any cost and win! If that were the case, the teams that pay their players the most should always win, right? Believe it or not, that is not correct. In fact, sometimes, the teams that win championships don’t have any “superstars” on them at all. If they do not have “superstars”, then why did they win? Simple, teamwork. They played together as a team, encouraged each other and supported each other. Did you know that it is also teamwork that makes God’s team win?
In Psalms 133:1 we read, “133 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!”
When church families and churches operate in unity, it is good and pleasant in the Lord’s eyes. As you go to your church this week to worship, make sure that you are doing all you can to make the Lord’s church a winning team!
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
