When you hare going through a trial, it is sometimes very difficult to imagine anything good coming from it. How could an illness lead to something good? How could the lose of a job lead to triumph? How could financial trouble be a blessing?
In Acts 16:40 it states, “40 So they went out of the prison and entered the house of Lydia; and when they had seen the brethren, they encouraged them and departed.” Yesterday, we read that Paul and Silas, while jailed, were praying and worshiping God. Their devotion to God lead to the prison doors being opened, the jailor being saved and Paul and Silas being released. Because of how Paul and Silas handed their trial, the brethren were “encouraged”.
How you handle your trials may be used by the Lord to save and encourage others. The next time you are enduring a trial, trust that good will come from it and it will lead to the Lord’s triumph!
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
