There are times in our lives where things aren’t “going right”. Just when we think that things can get worse, they do. Whether it be with health, family, friends, jobs or finances, it seems that things get to be unbearable at times. We get discouraged, we get depressed, we get to a point where question everything, including the Lord. I am sure that you are familiar with Job in the Old Testament. A man that endured significant trials, suffering and losses. How did Job reply when he thought things couldn’t get any worse?
In Job 19:24-25 we read, “25 For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth; 26 And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, That in my flesh I shall see God,”
Yes, things might not be going the way we wanted. Yes, we may be enduring pain that is almost unbearable. Yes, we may wonder if God is listening. But, never forget what Job declared, “25 For I know that my Redeemer lives,“. God is alive, God is in control, God is working.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
