It Will Sprout Again

Earlier this year, there was a very large fire in the mountains above Glendora. For months afterwards, the hillsides were black and barren.  Honestly, it didn’t look like anything would ever grow again there; everything was gone, everything was destroyed. But then, something amazing happened. After a few days of rain (yes, it does rain in LA), what was once dead was returning to life. With each passing rain storm, more and more plants and trees are returning to life.  Have you ever felt like those mountains? It seems like all has been destroyed and damaged and there is really no hope of things changing for you?

In Job 14:7 we read, ““For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease.”

The Bible promises that although we will have “wildfires” in our life that seem to destroy and damage everything important to us, the Lord will come and restore that which is dead.  Yes, that what you have lost the Lord promises, “it will sprout again”.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
