I think the biggest worry I have in ministry is not doing what I am called to do, but NOT doing what the Lord has called me to do. I know, you are probably wondering what am I talking about. As a pastor, you are called to shepherd, teach, counsel, etc. But, as a pastor, I am also called to do those things that everyone else is called to do — show love, be kind, forgive….. You know, all those things that Christians are “supposed” to do.
In Exodus 36:1 we read, “36 “And Bezalel and Aholiab, and every gifted artisan in whom the Lord has put wisdom and understanding, to know how to do all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, shall do according to all that the Lord has commanded.”
The Lord has called us all to do work for His service, but what is is that we are not doing? As you believe that the Lord is calling you to certain actions, don’t be afraid. He will give you “wisdom and understanding” so that He will shine!
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
