If I Perish, I Perish

Esther 4:15-1715 Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: 16 “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” 17 So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him.

There is something liberating about knowing that you are no longer living for yourself. If you have children, you probably know that feeling. Esther realized that there was something greater at stake than just her own well being. Esther said, “And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” She was now ready to allow the Lord to work through her.

Are you ready to allow the Lord to work through you? Have you realized that there is more good available to us when we stop living for ourselves, but are now living for the Lord?

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
