The Jews Had Joy and Gladness

Esther 8:15-1715 So Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, with a great crown of gold and a garment of fine linen and purple; and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad. 16 The Jews had light and gladness, joy and honor. 17 And in every province and city, wherever the king’s command and decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a holiday. Then many of the people of the land became Jews, because fear of the Jews fell upon them.

Wow! Mordecai appeared with the king, he was clothed in royal apparel and the Jews had joy and gladness.

I can’t help but think of how this relates to Resurrection Sunday. Jesus is now in the presence of God, clothed in His royal apparel and wearing His heavenly crown. He is where He belongs and He is with His Father. Because of that, we can all have joy and gladness. God’s Word is true, God’s Word is perfect.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
