How to Keep Fresh

Science has proven that avocados are a good way to improve your “good” cholesterol and lower your “bad” cholesterol. I have been following this theory for a while now by eating half of an avocado each day. The only problem is keeping the rest of the avocado fresh until the next day. The best way, I have discovered, is to keep the pit in the avocado. Without the pit, it will go bad much quicker.  If you look at your spiritual lives, you will notice that if you do not have something in your heart, it is very difficult to keep fresh.

Paul tells us in Ephesians 3:17, “17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,”.

Just as an avocado needs it’s pit to remain fresh, we need Jesus in our heart to be “rooted and grounded in love”. Without Jesus, we will go stale. Do you have Jesus in your heart today?

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
