Who Is He?

I was watching TV today and I saw an advertisement for a new show called, “Lucifer”. Yes, THAT Lucifer. The tag line for the show is “he makes being bad good”. I was a little shocked to see that there is a show that not only talks about Lucifer, but “celebrates him. The character is a good looking, sweet talking man that I am sure will be “likable” to many people. Believe it or not that is exactly the way that the Bible tells us it will work. Yes, he may be likable, but never forget what happens in the end.

In Revelation 20:1-3 John tells us, “20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

Revelation reminds us that while the world may thing that satan “makes being bad good”, the Lord will still prevail; God still wins and satan still loses. Being bad will never be good and good will never be bad.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
