Presumptious Sin

We are all sinners. Regardless of how hard we try, we are all sinners. That is why we need Jesus. Jesus came, died and rose again so that we would have victory over the sin in our lives. But,  what about the sin we continue to commit without any intent of stopping?

In Numbers 15:30-31 we read, “30 ‘But the person who does anything presumptuously, whether he is native-born or a stranger, that one brings reproach on the Lord, and he shall be cut off from among his people. 31 Because he has despised the word of the Lord, and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt shall be upon him.’”

While we can rejoice that our God is a fair God. The Bible also tells us that our God is a just God. Just as Jesus addressed our sin on the cross, God will address our sin with us. Commit to His ways. Commit to His Word. Commit to His salvation.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
