I think from time-to-time we get thoughts that run through our mind that we are not “worthy” enough to do great things for the Lord. We always assume that the most effective people are those on TV, on the radio or in other positions of great prominence or recognition. Unfortunately, too often, I think that we are wrong.
1 Samuel 18:7 tells us, “7 So the women sang as they danced, and said: ‘Saul has slain his thousands, And David his ten thousands.’”
King Saul was credited by his people of slaying “thousands”, while David, a mere servant of Saul was credited with slaying “ten thousands”. We do not need to be famous, popular or even in positions of prominence to be effective for the Lord, we just need to be willing and available. My prayer for you today is that you will step out in faith, be filled with the Spirit and go touch “ten thousands” for the Kingdom of God.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
