I recently told our church that the most difficult question to hear, as a pastor, is the question “why?” I often hear this as I am assisting people through difficult times in their lives. Why did my spouse leave me? Why did they have to die so young? Why do I have a terminal illness? What makes this question so hard is that there really is no good answer.

Psalms 73:17 tells us, “Until I went into the sanctuary of God;Then I understood their end.”

Our question of “why” may never be answered here on earth; at least not to our satisfaction. This passage reminded me that we must seek our guidance from the Lord to better understand His ways. Regardless of your current situation, trust that in all things He has a plan and a purpose.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
