I really enjoy dancing with my wife. We have fun, we laugh and we sometimes look silly. Regardless, every time we are at an event and the “right” song comes on, you can find us dancing. Dancing at weddings is one thing, but what does it mean to dance for the Lord?
2 Samuel 6:14 tells us, “14 Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod.”
David “danced before the Lord with all of his might”. David expressed his love and his joy to the Lord so that his dance would be a pleasant gift to the Lord. No, we might not have to actually physically dance before the Lord, but when we dance in our hearts, we are offering ourselves as a pleasant offering to the Lord. If David danced, why don’t we?
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
