Ecclesiastes 11:5 – 5 As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything.
Isn’t it ironic that we may never think of questioning our doctor, yet we have no problem questioning God? We assume our doctor “knows everything” so we go along with their advice about treatment. With all of those years of education and training, they must be right, correct? If we have that approach with doctors, why don’t we have that same approach with God.
Today’s verse reminds us “so you do not know the works of God who makes everything”. Things might not always make sense to us, but why do we question the God that made everything? Even though things may seem out of control to us, they are never out of control for the God who is always in control. Why do we question God when we should be giving thanks that in all things and at all times, He is perfect.
