When Things Seem Out of Control

Isaiah 40: 21-23 – 21 Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. 23 He brings the princes to nothing; He makes the judges of the earth useless.
There are times in everyone’s life that things seem “out of control”. Whether it be a problem in our family, our finances or a relationship, it just seems like “things never get better”. We thought yesterday was bad, until we experienced today. When we think that “things cannot get any worse”, unfortunately, they do. Things get so bad that we don’t even know what to do anymore.
It is at that time when things seem out of control that we must remind ourselves that God is still in control. Our scripture today says that God, “He who sits above the circle of the earth” is still in control. He is in control of the earth and, more importantly, He is still in control of your life. Things might not get better today or tomorrow, but have faith that God is working, God is listening and God is answering. If He can create beauty in this world, then He will surely create beauty in your life.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
