Jeremiah 32:26 – 26 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, 27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
Our mind can play terrible trick on us. It can make something that is harmful (sin) seem good for us. It can get us to think that people do not like us when they really do. It can even make problems seem much bigger than they really are. How many times have you been faced with a “small” problem that, as you think more and more about it, grows in your mind to be the biggest issue ever known to man kind. No, it might not have grown in reality, but thanks to your mind, it felt like it grew exponentially.
Today’s reading reminded me of how we can make sure our problems do not grow out of control. When we take them to the Lord, He asks, “Is there anything too hard for Me?“. I have heard a saying that goes, “the bigger you make your problem, the smaller you make God”. How true. What may seem very big to us is still very small for the One who created the universe. Would you rather handle a “big” problem, or let God take care of a “small” problem?
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
