How Often Do You Read the Word of God

Jeremiah 36:10 – 10 Then Baruch read from the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the Lord, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the upper court at the entry of the New Gate of the Lord’s house, in the hearing of all the people.
We all have schedules in our lives — the things we do daily. We have coffee in the morning, eat lunch at noon and watch TV at night, for example. Schedules are good because they can keep us on track and make us more productive. Unfortunately, schedules can also be bad if we do not have the “right” tasks on our agenda. For example, when was the last time you read the Word of God?
In today’s passage, we read that “Baruch read from the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the Lord“. In other words, he read the Word of God. It is important that each of take time each day to read the Word of God, study the Word of God and pray over the Word of God. Not just with ourselves, but also with our families. We can’t truly love God if we do not know God.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
