Ezekiel 16:60 – 60 “Nevertheless I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.
I have often found that when bad things happen to people, they are quick to blame someone else for it. If we were to take an honest look and reflect on our behavior, we would see that sometimes the issue in the situation relates back to us in someway. We even take this thinking into our relationship with the Lord.
People will often say that the consequences of their sin are God’s fault. “If He really loved me, this would not have happened”. Unfortunately, we can never blame God for the consequences of our sin. The Lord promises, “ I will remember My covenant with you”. God never breaks His covenant with us, but through our actions, we may break His covenant. While we did nothing to earn our salvation, we can do everything to lose our salvation. Let’s learn from our shortcomings and renew our covenant with the Lord.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
