What Did You Bring Me Out of the Womb?

Job 10:18-19 – 18 ‘Why then have You brought me out of the womb? Would that I had died and no eye had seen me! 19 ‘I should have been as though I had not been, Carried from womb to tomb.’

Some people may go through seasons where they feel it would have been better if they had never been born. Their problems are too great. The pain too much. They feel insignificant, of no value, worth or purpose. Perhaps you are experiencing these feelings today.
Job, a man that experienced great trials, pain and suffering cried out, “18 Why then have You brought me out of the womb? Would that I had died and no eye had seen me!” In his trials, he could not see that God had a plan and purpose. Remember, God does not make mistakes — He never has; He never will. The seasons of trial and pain are really seasons for us to grow closer to the Lord. God’s goal with Job is the same goal He has with us — a deeper relationship. Today, may you be reminded that you have value, you have purpose and you have God who loves you dearly.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
