Psalm 73:28 – 28 But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works.
Nowadays, it seems as if there is a lot of confusion about what is good for you. Some say that a lot of exercise is good for you, while others say that too much can be harmful. Some say that eating a lot of protein is very healthy and will help you lose weight, while others say that it can be bad for your heart. Some say that a glass of wine each night is good for your heart, while others say that drinking alcohol each day can cause cancer. What is good for you?
In today’s scripture, we are told that “it is good for me to draw near to God”. Finally, we have found something that nobody can disagree with! It is good for us to draw near to God and put our trust in Him. When we draw near, we get a better sense of His presence and working in our lives. We get the peace and joy that can only come from the Lord. And, we receive the only thing that is absolutely good for our life — salvation. What is good for you? “It is good for me to draw near to God”.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
