2 Samuel 14:14 – 14 For we will surely die and become like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. Yet God does not take away a life; but He devises means, so that His banished ones are not expelled from Him.
We are all “guilty” of doing things in our lives that we now regret and wish had never happened. Some of these things (sin) may have been small, some may have been big. Regardless of the size or severity, it is these things that can prevent us from having a relationship with the Lord. We often think that God would never want anything to do with someone like us because of our sin.
Today’s verse is to be an encouragement to all of us that “God does not take away a life; but He devises means, so that His banished ones are not expelled from Him.” Yes, that is correct. No matter had big/small or the extent of your sin, God has devised a means (Jesus Christ), “so that His banished ones are not expelled from Him”. The only thing keeping you from a relationship with Jesus today is you. He has already paid the price, will you accept His gift today?
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
