2 Samuel 16:12 – 12 It may be that the Lord will look on my affliction, and that the Lord will repay me with good for his cursing this day.”
It has been said that there are two types of people in the world — those that see the glass half-empty and those that see the glass half-full. In other words, people will either have a negative or positive outlook on life. I believe that our outlook strongly affects how things play out.
In today’s passage, we are reminded, 12 It may be that the Lord will look on my affliction, and that the Lord will repay me with good for his cursing this day.” As you endure your “affliction”, seek the good in what the Lord may be doing. Trust that in all things and at all times, He is working and moving in your life and those all around you. If we begin to seek the good and seek God, we may begin to see our afflictions not just as a curse, but we may begin to see that they can also be a blessing.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
