2 Kings 5:7 – 7 And it happened, when the king of Israel read the letter, that he tore his clothes and said, “Am I God, to kill and make alive, that this man sends a man to me to heal him of his leprosy? Therefore please consider, and see how he seeks a quarrel with me.”
With the advent of the internet, there is no shortage of “experts” and “advice”. In fact, America now seeks help from Google more than we seek help from God. I personally believe that we have fallen into a dangerous trap of believing that we no longer need to seek God when we can have answers at our fingertips.
In today’s scripture we read of the King of Israel who is asked to heal Naaman. In response to the request, he replies, “Am I God, to kill and make alive,”. No, the king was not God. Don’t get confused, don’t get tricked. There is only one God and only He can give you the guidance, instruction and answers that you seek. Google may be helpful, but it will never be God.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
