Never Returns Void

Isaiah 55: – 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

I remember talking to a stranger once and telling them about Jesus. The more I talked, the less interested they seemed. At the end of our conversation, it seem that my words had done little to get them to understand who Jesus really was. I left feeling that I had lost a great opportunity.

In today’s writing, Isaiah reminds us that “My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void. Many months later, I learned that this person had begun to attend a local church and had given their life to Jesus. No, I don’t credit myself with what happened, but God. Always remember that it is our job to spread the seeds (God’s Word) and God will water and nurture. Continue to preach the Gospel, continue to spread the seeds and God will do the rest!

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
