Where Did God Go?

Isaiah 59:21 – 21 “As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.”

Often times when people are struggling through trials, there is a tendency to think, “where did God go?” We begin to believe that we are alone in a boat being rocked by the rough sea. Jesus calmed the sea for His apostles, but He doesn’t seem to be doing the same for us. Why?

Today’s scripture reminds us that we are not alone in our trials or in our boat being tossed by the seas. God is with us — always has been, always will be “from this time and forevermore“. You are not alone, you are not forgotten. In His time and in His plan, you will be released from your trial and your sea will be calmed. Until then, know that God has not left you but is there to comfort you.

I pray for blessing today for you on your Journey!
