A Mature Christian is a Growing Christian

Ezekiel 2:3 – And He said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you.” So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.

In a recent sermon, I discussed the signs that make up a mature Christian. No, a mature Christian is not necessarily an older Christian. In fact, it can often times be a younger aged Christian. A mature Christian is one that recognizes the need to learn more, moves closer to God and grows in His Word. Paul tells us that if we do those things, we will attain the goal of eternal life.

In today’s verse, God’s Word is described as “like honey in sweetness”. My prayer for you is to hunger for God’s Word and take the necessary steps to be moving closer to Him. As you read and explore God’s Word, may it “fill your stomach” and taste “like honey in sweetness”.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
