A Future Blessing

Ezekiel 28: 25-26 – 25 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am hallowed in them in the sight of the Gentiles, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob. 26 And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards; yes, they will dwell securely, when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God.”’”

It takes work to see beauty when there doesn’t seem to be any. For example, some people can look at an old, worn-down house and see something amazing. While most people may see that house for what it is, some can see it for what it could be. I think we should spend more time seeing our world the same way.

In today’s passage we read, “26 And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards; yes, they will dwell securely,” Remember, while we might not like what we see in the world today, the Lord promises a future blessing. No matter how bad things may seem, God sees and will do something amazing! Never get discouraged, hold on to His promise.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
