Love Your Enemies

Exodus 23:4-5 – “If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again. If you see the donkey of one who hates you lying under its burden, and you would refrain from helping it, you shall surely help him with it.

As I write this devotion, we find our country very divided. We have, unfortunately, embraced the concept of “if you are not for me, you are against me”. As Christians, we are called to be different, to be the light, to be God’s love. Today’s Word says, “If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.” My prayer for you today is that you will seek to find ways to embrace and love those that are your “enemies”. Division not only can kill countries, but it can also kill churches. Remember, we are all children of God.

I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
