Numbers 5:1-5 – 5 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2 “Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper, everyone who has a discharge, and whoever becomes defiled by a corpse. 3 You shall put out both male and female; you shall put them outside the camp, that they may not defile their camps in the midst of which I dwell.” 4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them outside the camp; as the Lord spoke to Moses, so the children of Israel did.
Periodically, I will talk to people that have been stuck deep in sin for sometime. They desire to be changed and transformed, to be loved and accepted, yet they do not feel they can get that from a church. In fact, a common critique of churches and Christians is that we are hypocrites — we judge, yet refused to be judged. It is my prayer for all Christians and churches that we will not “put out of the camp every leper” but show the love of Jesus to all. May we realize that we are all unclean people, yet by the blood of Jesus Christ we can all be made clean.
I pray for blessings today for you on your Journey!
